Buffalo Bills linebacker Arthur Moats shared smiles with Bills partner **Tim Hortons** at the **Pediatric Oncology Floor of Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo** on September 14.

Tim Hortons announced that they have created a special smiling chocolate chip cookie that fans can purchase for $1.00 plus tax, with proceeds to benefit the Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation.

Moats was on hand to support the cause, visit with the young patients and shared his thoughts about the importance of having quality care.

"I have a niece myself and I love her so much," said Moats. "God forbid if anything were to happen to her I would want her to get the best care possible, and I think that this hospital displays that."

Moats brightened some children's faces while he was at the hospital and encouraged everyone to be as positive as they can.

"When I see a sick child I feel if there's anything I could do to bring a smile to that child's face I'm going to try and do it," said Moats. "My number one life lesson is just stay positive with every situation. There will be some ups and downs in life but, as long as you are smiling and you have a positive outlook, everything will be fine."

In August 2009, Tim Hortons announced the goal of raising $500,000 over five years to assist with building the Tim Hortons Children's Center for Injury Care and Prevention. Following this fall campaign, Tim Hortons will be $140,000 closer to achieving its goal. Currently, Tim Hortons restaurant owners and their guests have raised more than $326,000 for the Women & Children's Hospital Foundation of Buffalo.

"Tim Hortons is thrilled to help bring smiles to patients and families cared for by the Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo through our annual Smile Cookie Fundraiser," said Rajan Kalra, Tim Hortons owner. "The success of the program would not be possible without the support and generosity of our community. On behalf of all the Buffalo area Tim Hortons owners and team members, I would like to thank all our guests for their continued support of this meaningful cause."
