The Buffalo Bills preseason slate will have them home at New Era Field at the start and finish of the four-game schedule before the regular season begins.

The Bills also have a nationally televised game in Week 3 of the preseason.

Buffalo opens their preseason in Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts and head coach Frank Reich. That game will take place the week of Aug. 8-Aug. 12th. The Bills and Colts split each of their last two preseason meetings in 2013 and 2016.

In Week 2, the Bills play the first of two road games at Carolina as head coach Sean McDermott and GM Brandon Beane face their former club the week of Aug. 15-Aug. 19th. Buffalo dropped a 28-23 decision to the Panthers in the preseason home opener last summer.

Buffalo's national television appearance happens in Week 3 at Detroit, one of their most familiar preseason opponents. That game will take place Friday, Aug. 23rd with a kickoff time of 8 pm.

The Bills beat the Lions in their last preseason meeting in 2017 by a score of 27-17.

The Bills then close out the preseason at home on Thursday, Aug. 29th against Minnesota, a team they also faced in the preseason in 2017.

The Bills 2019 preseason schedule is presented by Ellicott Hotels.
