Bills Alumni help feed community

Hairnets and plastic gloves were the attire of choice by Bills alumni on Tuesday, November 18th.  Bills alumni and former defensive back Jeff Nixon, quarterback/wide receiver Ed Rutkowski and linebacker David White volunteered their time and served over 300 turkey dinners to community members at the City Mission in Buffalo.

Helping at the event seemed to mean as much to the Bills alumni as it did to the needy folks at the City Mission.

"We are proud members of the Western New York community and are thankful that we can provide our time, efforts and food to those in need during this Thanksgiving holiday," said Ed Rutkowski.

In related Bills alumni news, Bills alumnus and former wide receiver Charley Ferguson will be accompanying other Bills alumni to the St. Luke's Mission of Mercy on Thursday, November 20th. In addition, other Bills alumni will be going to Urban Christian Ministries on Tuesday, November 25th. These former NFL and Bills superstars will distribute hundreds of turkeys and thanksgiving dinner fixings that were purchased with funds donated by the Buffalo Bills Alumni Foundation.

The Buffalo Bills Alumni Association is proud to help contribute to the Western New York community, especially during the holidays when help seems to be needed the most.
