Buffalo, NY — A big change is coming to Highmark Stadium this fall. The Buffalo Bills are excited to announce that ranch dressing is the official dipping sauce of the Bills for the 2023 NFL season.
Beginning with the season opener in September, all food and beverage vendors within the stadium will only be serving ranch dressing as the exclusive dipping sauce for wings and other menu items.
While the team acknowledges the long-standing tradition of serving bleu cheese with wings, they believe it is time to move forward. After extensive research and consideration in the offseason — including surveys with longtime Bills season ticket members — it was discovered that ranch is the preferred dipping sauce for wings among Bills fans in the Western New York region.
The Bills organization is confident that fans will embrace the new policy this year and potentially in future seasons. Fans are encouraged to share their feedback and suggestions for new menu items featuring ranch dressing on the team's social media channels using the hashtag #RanchIsKing.
For every touchdown the Bills score at home in the 2023 season, the organization will donate a case of ranch dressing bottles to a select number of local restaurants in the Buffalo area.
And for every home win in 2023, the Bills will nominate a Ranch Dressing Player of the Game where the chosen player will dip a chicken wing in ranch and eat it live during a post game interview that will be displayed on the video boards at Highmark Stadium.
The team is looking forward to kicking off the season with this exciting change and hopes to see all fans at Highmark Stadium ready to enjoy their wings with a side of ranch.
