Bills players paint smiles

Bills punter Brian Moorman hosted a PUNT Foundation pottery painting party with Bills players and over 30 pediatric cancer patients Thursday evening in the Bills Field House.

In addition to Moorman, some of the Bills players that participated in the pottery painting party were kicker Rian Lindell, defensive ends Chris Kelsay and Ryan Denney, long snapper Garrison Sanborn and offensive lineman Kirk Chambers.  Injured offensive lineman Brad Butler also joined his teammates and helped put a smile on the children?s faces.

The smiling kids were treated to snacks and refreshments and painted pots with their favorite team?s players.  Village Clay in Orchard Park supplied the unique pottery that came in all kinds of designs from standard bowls to pumpkins, elephants and even football helmets.

Some of the pottery that was made by the players and children will be autographed by the players and used as auction items at Brian?s PUNT Foundation Celebrity Wine Tasting event on Monday, Oct. 26 at Asbury Hall on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo.  The fourth annual event will help raise money to help families in Western New York affected by pediatric cancer.
