Bills to host annual gift of warmth collection

ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills will host the Annual Gift of Warmth Collection prior to the November 18th game against the New England Patriots. All donations will benefit the Salvation Army's Buffalo Area Services.

Monetary donations and NEW warm clothing items such as hats, scarves, and gloves will be collected at all gates by volunteers from the Salvation Army's Buffalo Area Services, M&T Bank, Buffalo Jills, Empire Vision, and Student Leaders.

Throughout the months of November and December drop-off boxes will be featured at all M&T Bank branches, Empire Vision locations in the Buffalo and Syracuse Area, and American Red Cross sites. M&T Bank has been a proud sponsor of the Gift of Warmth for more than 20 years.

Last year alone, The Salvation Army was able to provide more than 8,500 children with clothing to stay warm through the winter months. These items are used to benefit the less fortunate of Western New York.

We ask people to help us give the most important gift of all this season, The Gift of Warmth.

Since 1884, The Salvation Army has been a vital link within Western New York's human service network. We provide individuals, regardless of age, gender, education, ethnicity or religion with food, clothing and shelter, as well as social and spiritual support. The mission of The Salvation Army – Buffalo Area Services is to offer hope for a better life by meeting basic human needs.
