1 - Lorenzo has another year left in the tank
At 34-years-old, Lorenzo Alexander is undoubtedly on the back side of his NFL career. Though, he had arguably his best game of the season on Sunday and is anticipating on playing in 2018.
"I mean, that's the plan for me. Obviously, the organization has to make a decision on whether or not they want to keep me," said Alexander during Monday's locker room cleanout. "Then once that happens, I have to earn my right back on this team. Until, March, the league year is not over so I'll still be coming up here, getting treatment, working out to start preparing myself for the offseason."
Alexander showed on Sunday that he's still more than capable of playing in this league. He led the Bills defense with 10 tackles, which was a season-high for the linebacker. It was also the most tackles he's tallied in the postseason in his 11-year career.
Additionally, he chalked up two tackles for a loss, one quarterback hit, and one sack. It was Alexander's most tackles for loss since Week Two and his first sack since Week 12.
"Yeah, probably one of my better games. I was able to play a lot. They played a lot of 12 and 21 personnel, that allowed me to be in base and just allowed me to be out there," said Alexander. "It's a playoff game, like I said, they don't come around each and every year. I wanted to lay it all out on the line. I just had that mindset to take it up a notch and just have fun out there."
In 17 games this season, Alexander had 83 tackles, 16 QB hits, and four sacks.
In 2018, he's set to earn a base salary of $2,450,000 and a roster bonus of $400,000.
"Yeah, no. Retirement is not on my radar quite yet. I definitely want to get one more in," said Alexander. "I really love this organization, love what we were able to build here and I definitely want to continue to be a part of helping this organization take that next step, and that's winning a playoff game and getting to a championship and winning that."
2 - Awards keep coming for Tre'Davious
It was an admirable rookie campaign for Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White. Though the team's season concluded on Sunday, that doesn't mean the awards will stop.
White's most recent accolade came on Wednesday, as he was recognized as Pro Football Focus’ second-team All-Pro at CB. The first-team selections were Casey Hayward and Jalen Ramsey, While White and A.J. Bouye rounded out the second team.
That was one of many awards for Buffalo's first-round pick in 2017-2018. He also earned PFF’s Rookie of the Year, beating out: Marshon Lattimore, Kareem Hunt, and Alvin Kamara.
The past week has been accolade-filled for White. Though, he's been receiving recognition since the beginning of the season. He was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month in September for his performances in weeks one through three. He had a league-leading seven passes defended, with 16 tackles, two tackles for a loss, and one interception.
On the season, White finished with 70 tackles, 19 passes defended, four interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.
"I feel like the first year, I had a great year," said White. "There are some things I still need to work on, but it was a great start." 
3 - Deonte Thompson puts up career-year
The Bills signed wide receiver, Deonte Thompson, on Oct. 17, 2017. That transaction paid off, as he was Buffalo's leading wideout and in the process had the best season of his career.
He played five games with Chicago earlier in the season before he was released and later signed by Buffalo. His first game with the Bills came in Week Seven against the Buccaneers. He made his presence felt immediately, as he posted four receptions for 107 yards.
Thompson played 11 games with Buffalo in the regular season and had seven starts. Those are the most starts in his six-year career. In those 11 games, he had 27 receptions for 430 yards and one touchdown. He led all Bills wide receivers in yards and was tied for the lead in receptions.
If you add Thompson's numbers from Chicago, he finished the season with 38 receptions, 555 yards, and two touchdowns. That's by far the best season of his NFL career.
Thompson's future in Buffalo is unknown, as he's an unrestricted free agent in 2018.
