1. Peter King says Bills "time to win is now"

He's not the first NFL analyst this offseason to say that the Bills opportunity to really make a run at a Super Bowl is now. But in an appearance on ‘One Bills Live’ NBC's Peter King believes with the way in which GM Brandon Beane has built the roster combined with the departure of Tom Brady from the division puts Buffalo in prime position to go big or go home.

"The Bills have solved a lot of their problems and the Bills have competitive playoff players at a lot more positions they had when Brandon Beane walked in the door with Sean McDermott," said King. "The Bills have been chasing the New England Patriots for the last 20 years. Right now, the Bills can beat anybody in that division… like right now. It is time to go for it. If you're the Buffalo Bills it's now."

2. The argument for the Bills to draft a running back via NFL.com

In reviewing the new landscape of the AFC East in the wake of free agency, NFL.com is now assessing where the four rivals should look to add pieces in the draft. Around the NFL writer Jeremy Bergman believes, without many holes, that Buffalo should find a running back on day two of the draft.

The Bills spent their first-round pick on Diggs, don't own a selection until No. 54 in the second round and have just seven total. With a pretty sound roster just in need of seasoning, the Bills can build depth at certain positions as a luxury. After losing Frank Gore (still a free agent), Buffalo could target a RB in the draft for the second straight year to pair with Devin Singletary.

Bergman also points out the need to sign Tre'Davious White to his fifth-year option or a long-term extension going forward.

3. Bills crack top 10 in latest pre-draft power rankings

Buffalo has been getting more and more respect around the league of late, especially in the wake of the trade to acquire WR Stefon Diggs. In the latest NFL power rankings, SI.com’s Jenny Vrentas has Buffalo cracking the top 10. Here is her assessment.

10. Buffalo Bills

The Bills have been trying to get a top receiver since they (very fortunately, in retrospect) missed on Antonio Brown last year. The trade for Stefon Diggs will help Josh Allen—though they paid a very steep price for a receiver who made no secret of the fact that he wanted out of Minnesota—and the Bills also made moves to beef up their defensive line and secondary. But the success of the Bills is contingent on whether or not Allen can take the next step, which is no certain thing.

Vrentas also has the Patriots ranked right ahead of the Buffalo at No. 9. She states that she cannot hand the division over to another team without seeing how Bill Belichick's post-Brady plans unfold first.
