Linebacker Paul Posluszny is coming back to Buffalo as the Bills' Legend of the Game on Sunday. The Week 17 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles is slated for 4:25 p.m. ET.

Posluszny played for Buffalo for the first four seasons of his career. He was drafted in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft, going 34th overall to the Bills. Over his career with the team, he started in all 45 games played. Posluszny registered 398 total tackles as a Bill, 14 tackles for loss, 14 passes defensed, 13 quarterback hits, four interceptions for 29 yards, four forced fumbles, three sacks and one fumble recovery.

Despite playing a majority of his career in Jacksonville, Posluszny said he's excited to come back to Western New York and show his family where his NFL career started.

"My wife and I haven't been back since I played there. So, I'm very excited to come back and bring our kids there for them to see the environment; and see friends from the area that we haven't seen in a very long time," Posluszny said.

The game against the Eagles is not only the second-to-last regular season game of 2025, but also the second-to-last regular season game in Highmark Stadium.

"It's special because that's where I had the opportunity to play. You understand the history of that stadium and all the great Bills, teams and players and coaches that have been a part of that," Posluszny said. "Knowing that they're moving to a new facility, I'm very humbled to have the opportunity to do this."

From his time with the Bills, Posluszny recollected all the teammates he had an opportunity to play with from running back Marshawn Lynch and safety John Wendling to defensive tackles Marcus Stroud to Kyle Williams.

Looking at Buffalo's current season, Posluszny said aside from the obvious, quarterback Josh Allen, standing out, he appreciates the strides the Bills' defense made throughout the season. He said he loves to see what their defense can do and the speed they play at. Watching the 2025 season play out, Posluszny described all of it as exciting.

On Sunday, Posluszny leads the charge, firing up the crowd at Highmark Stadium. Taking in all the history, emotions and opportunity, he's ready to be surrounded by all of Bills Mafia once again.

"I'm excited and nervous as well because I will have to be out of my normal comfort zone for this," Posluszny said. "But knowing the fans in Western New York and the Bills fans, and how excited they are and how supportive they are, it'll be great. I'm looking forward to it."
