The Bills made a defensive splash in free agency, signing outside linebacker Bradley Chubb to a three-year deal.
Chubb, 29, is coming off an 8.5 sack season with the Miami Dolphins, also recording 47 tackles, 20 quarterback hits and two forced fumbles. Since coming into the league in 2017 as the fifth overall pick, Chubb has recorded 48 career sacks, 112 QB hits, 53 TFL and 15 forced fumbles.
In Week 17 of the 2023 season, Chubb suffered a torn ACL with the Dolphins, costing him to miss the entire 2024 season. Prior to the injury, Chubb was in the midst of one of the best seasons of his career. He had 11 sacks in 16 games, one shy of his career high. He also had a league-high six forced fumbles and 22 QB hits.

Chubb returned in 2025 as a workhorse defender, playing all 17 games, ranking t-20th in the NFL in sacks.
Chubb has made two Pro Bowls (2020, 2022) during his time in the NFL, originally beginning his career with the Denver Broncos as the fifth overall pick in the 2018 draft. He recorded 170 career tackles, 26 sacks, one interception and six forced fumbles with the Broncos.
He was traded to the Dolphins in Nov. 2022 and played for Miami until he was released on Wednesday.
