Wegmans and the Buffalo Bills are teaming up to support food-insecure families with food allergies and special diet needs.

In 2025, Wegmans is changing the format to a two-day matching donation scan campaign in which Wegmans gives a $10,000 donation to FeedMore WNY (Buffalo only) and will encourage customers to match our donation on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th.

Cashiers will ask customers at check out if they would like to donate to match the Wegmans donation. Donation amounts will be $2, $3, $5 or any amount.

The Buffalo Bills Foundation matched with a $10,000 donation, too. Bills head coach Sean McDermott attended a press conference at Wegmans this week where he voiced his support for fighting food insecurity.

"We need to be more aware of the situations that some children and adults have with food allergies and special dietary needs," McDermott said. "Education and awareness are key."
