Q: Did yesterday display what this team thought the blueprint would be in August, especially with the way you ran the ball yesterday?

A: We know that our offense and everything starts with the running game. It opens up everything. You can ask anybody around this league' what is the thing that establishes your offense?' It is the running game and that is something that yesterday was just a little example of what we are capable of once we got the running game going. The bad part was just the weather conditions, but I think we handled that pretty well.

Q: How important is it to have that rushing attack in the weather elements?

A: You have to be able to run. The main thing is just protecting it because the ball is very slick. Defenders know that and they are going after it. Protecting the ball is going to be the main key. So with teams coming that do not have this type of weather, it affects them a little bit. Hopefully we are able to jump on teams early and let that weather be in the back of their head so they cannot play to the best of their ability.

Q: Can you make that a home field advantage?

A: You can. At the end of the day you still have to go out there and get your job done. We would like for teams to have to hate coming up here and play at this time of the year. In order to do that you have to win a lot of games and you have to do it respectfully.
