Gift of Warmth Collection at Bills vs. Jets game

The Buffalo Bills, Salvation Army and M&T Bank are encouraging fans to help the less fortunate in Western New York this winter season by participating in the 2008 Gift of Warmth Collection that will take place at the Bills vs. Jets game on Sunday, November 2, 2008.  New warm clothing and monetary donations will be collected at the Ralph Wilson Stadium gates before the 1:00 p.m. game.  Those not able to donate at the game are encouraged to donate at any M&T Bank branch throughout the Buffalo and Rochester area and Empire Vision locations.

Buffalo Bills cornerback Jabari Greer signed autographs for fans at M&T Bank's Seneca Cazenovia Branch yesterday to kick off the annual 'Gift of Warmth' Collection Program.  Greer has been a Gift of Warmth spokesperson and Salvation Army supporter for the past four years.

Since 1884, the Salvation Army has been a vital link within Western New York's human services network.  They provide individuals, regardless of age, gender, education, ethnicity or religion with food, clothing and shelter, as well as social and spiritual support.  The mission of The Salvation Army – Buffalo Area Services is to offer hope for a better life by meeting basic human needs.

M&T Bank is the official banking partner of the Bills and has been a proud sponsor of the Gift of Warmth for more than 20 years.

M&T Bank, founded in 1856, is one of the top 20 largest U.S. commercial bank holding companies, with approximately $66 billion in assets.  M&T Bank operates more than 680 branches and 1,600 ATM's in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.
