The NFL announced the following scenario for the Buffalo Bills to clinch their third playoff berth in four seasons. Here's what needs to happen.

BUFFALO BILLS (9-3) (vs. Pittsburgh (11-1), Sunday night, 8:20 PM ET, NBC)

Buffalo clinches playoff berth with:

  1. BUF win + BAL loss + MIA loss + LV loss + NE loss or tie

New England (6-6) plays at the Los Angeles Rams (8-4) on Thursday night. The Baltimore Ravens (6-5) play at the Cleveland Browns (9-3) on Monday night. Miami (8-4) hosts Kansas City (11-1) on Sunday at 1 pm. Las Vegas (7-5) hosts the Indianapolis Colts (8-4) at 4:05 pm on Sunday.

  1. PIT win + CLE loss

  2. LV loss or tie OR
  3. MIA loss or tie OR
  4. TEN loss
