Johnson to host Amazing Race Buffalo

Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Spencer Johnson is hosting the AMAZING RACE Buffalo on Saturday, October 31st.  The race on Halloween begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Erie Community College in Williamsville, NY.

Based on the popular television show, teams of 4 individuals will race along a course that includes a series of fun-filled pit stops that involve a combination of skill, intellect and teamwork.  At each pit stop, teams will be directed to perform a task, as a team or by a single member, before advancing.  Tasks include relays, brain teasers, constructing, sports, and a whole lot more.  The team that finishes all the challenges and reports back to the final check point first wins.

The winners will receive 20 tickets to a Bills game as guests of Spencer Johnson.  In addition, a special prize will be awarded for best costume.  A live auction and silent auction of collectible Bills memorabilia will also highlight the event.

The event is limited to the first 50 teams that sign up.  Fans may register individually for $25 or as a foursome for $100.  Proceeds benefit the Spencer Johnson Adopt-A-High-School Academic Initiative, which offers academic and SAT/ACT assistance to underserved students in area schools.
