Brian Moorman is no stranger to being recognized by the Western New York community for his off the field efforts and endeavors. So it was no surprise that he was recognized by the Amherst Chamber of Commerce's Emerging Business Leaders last week.

At the first annual Awards Gala last week by the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, honoring outstanding young professionals Moorman was the recipient of the Community Impact Award due mainly to his PUNT Foundation, which supports pediatric cancer research, treatment and social programs.

"The PUNT Foundation is very grateful for this recognition," Moorman told Buffalobills.com. "As an organization we continue to strive to make a positive impact on the families that we support as well as the community as a whole. To be recognized in this fashion is a great honor, and we hope that exposure such as this will continue to bring us more and more support to accomplish the goal we have of making the lives of children with cancer better."

Moorman's PUNT foundation is also affiliated locally with Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Carly's Club.
