QB Kyle Orton signs with Bills

Orchard Park, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has signed QB Kyle Orton. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Orton, an eight year NFL veteran, originally entered the league as a fourth round (106th overall) draft pick of the Chicago Bears in 2005. The 6-4, 228 pound Purdue product has started 70-of-75 career games played, completing 58.5 percent of his career pass attempts for 15,019 yards, 83 touchdowns and 59 interceptions. In addition to the Bears, Orton has spent time with the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys. Orton is 31 and a native of Altoona, IA.

Orton will wear number 18.
