Twelve Buffalo Bills players and several of their wives joined Athletes in Action and The Buffalo Christian Center in downtown Buffalo on November 11th as Bills players shared their personal testimonies to fans in attendance.

The "Night Out With the Bills" encompassed players discussing their faith and thoughts on maintaining integrity on and off the field in a relaxed interview format on stage. The annual event in Buffalo has become a popular attraction for kids and their families, but also for the Bills players.

Bills players in attendance were wide receiver David Nelson, wide receiver Ruvell Martin, quarterback Tyler Thigpen, quarterback/wide receiver Brad Smith, safety George Wilson, wide receiver Donald Jones, linebacker Chris Kelsay, tight end Scott Chandler, defensive end Spencer Johnson, kicker Rian Lindell, safety Jairus Byrd and linebacker Andra Davis.

The players spoke to the crowd about their own personal stories and inspired the kids and attendees to follow Jesus. They signed autographs after the event and complimentary door prizes including tickets to the Bills vs. Tennessee Titans game and autographed footballs were raffled off.

An estimated more than 1,000 people attended the unique event aimed at the youth of Buffalo. The players were interviewed for an hour followed by the autograph and meet and greet session. They also gave out complimentary autographed books with their favorite verse in the books to the kids.

The "Night Out With the Bills" Athletes in Action event was hosted by Fred and Kathy Raines, who serve as Chaplains with the Buffalo Bills and also host weekly Bible study with Bills players.
