The annual Western New York Amateur Football Alliance - Youth Football Coaching Academy presented by the Buffalo Bills will take place inside the Buffalo Bills Field House on Saturday, March 28th 2009. The program will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with registration taking place from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
The Coaching Academy, which is specifically designed for youth coaches, focuses on a number of different coaching areas including mentoring, football philosophy, organization, health and safety, officiating, and offensive/defensive fundamentals.
Each of the coaches in attendance will receive a tee shirt, coaching booklet, breakfast/lunch, and a certificate showing that they completed the Academy. The Academy will also include a vendor expo and door prizes. The Academy will run with the assistance of a number of top WNY High School Varsity coaches, officials, and clinicians.
