1, McCarron hosts camp in his hometown

This past Saturday, July 14, quarterback A.J. McCarron hosted his fourth annual free football camp. The event welcomed roughly 500 young athletes ages eight through 17 from all over Alabama, Mississippi, Florida and more. The camp was held at Baker High School in Mobile, Alabama, not too far from the University of Alabama, where McCarron led the Crimson Tide to two national championships. McCarron was certainly hard at work as he threw out multiple passes to each child in attendance. It was all worth it for the quarterback, whose main goal of the day was to inspire the youth and give them a memory that will last a lifetime. He even personally signed a poster for every person who attended the event.

2. Hauschka's hunt for the perfect summer

Kicker Stephen Hauschka has been making the most of his free time this summer. Whether he is soaking up the sun or enjoying the company of his loved ones, Hauschka has been living his best life. He was spotted on a beach with his son back home in Orange County, California in late June. Then he celebrated his 33rd birthday by vacationing in Hawaii with his wife, Lindsey, earlier this month. Hauschka even made his way to Chicago with Lindsey last weekend to celebrate the last wedding he would attend this offseason. Most recently, Hauschka has taken to Instagram to show off the views of Turo Massachusetts, where he is dedicating some of his last days of vacation to a family reunion. Overall, it seems this Bills special teamer had a fun-filled summer and is ready to get back to work!

3. Thomas sets sail

Bills Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas is also making the most of the summer months, as he set sail with a large of group of family and friends for the trip of a lifetime. The Thomas clan hit the high seas for a three-week long cruise that covered some of Europe's major attractions like Spain, Italy and France. Of course, the breathtaking sights were a memorable portion of their trip but what seemed to be the most note-worthy part of the adventure was the quality time spent his loved one. Since most of Thomas children are busy with school and sports during the year, it was a special opportunity to have his whole family present for a truly amazing journey. Whether they were playing a quick game of Family Feud on the boat or posing in front of the Roman Colosseum, the Thomas crew stayed very busy in their time abroad.

4. Towbridge uses time off to give back

Tight end Keith Towbridge recently returned to his Louisville roots for his last free weekend before starting Bills Training Camp, presented by Connors and Ferris. Towbridge was not there, however, to relive his past, but rather to help children to look toward their future. Towbridge was volunteering for a free one-day football camp for kids of all ages put on by friend, former teammate and current Los Angeles Rams guard Jamon Brown at DeSales High School in Louisville, Kentucky.

Now in its second year, the camp proved to be even more successful than the first. With several NFL teams represented and over 300 youth in attendance, there was a lot of fun and learning to be had. Not only was Towbridge hands-on with teaching the youngsters drills and skills, he also made time for a dance party.

5. Kelly family takes on the ESPYS

Wednesday night's ESPY Awards was an exciting time for Bills legend Jim Kelly and his family. Family has played a vital role in Kelly's career, so it was a particularly important night for the Hall of Famer who has had his daughters and wife by his side every step of the way. Kelly's daughters, Erin and Camryn, gave Bills fans a behind-the-scenes look as the night unfolded by taking over the Bill's Instagram account. They featured the eager ride to the Red Carpet and Kelly greeting some old friends, like fellow legend Dan Marino, upon arrival. While Kelly took in the magic of the night, his daughters watched with pride and admiration, giving Bills fans a unique look at what the event meant to him and his family. Fans even got to see a dance celebration at the end of what was a significant moment for the Kellys.
