About Huddle for Hunger: To combat hunger in our community, the Buffalo Bills Foundation and Wegmans are teaming up for their annual Huddle for Hunger initiative. This initiative aims to raise awareness of food insecurity in our region and support local hunger-fighting charities
Community Food Drive & Festival: New this year, the Bills Foundation and Wegmans will expand the annual community food drive into an interactive festival at Highmark Stadium on Tuesday, September 30 from 4:30pm-6:30pm in Lot 2. Fans and local high schools will donate non-perishable food items in exchange for a Bills branded reusable tote and entrance into the festival. The community food drive and festival will be packed with exciting entertainment and new opportunities including special appearances by Billy Buffalo, Bills players and alumni, performances from the Stampede Marching Band, music by DJ Milk & Yes, in addition to the workshops, markets and demonstrations hosted by the 2025 Huddle for Hunger charities.
Bills Foundation Focus: The Bills Foundation is focused on addressing hunger, increasing access to nutritious food for families, and supporting healthy eating in Western New York.
In efforts to combat hunger in our community, the Bills Foundation and Wegmans teamed up for the annual Huddle for Hunger Food Drive on September 17th. Over 31,000 pounds of food was donated by Bills fans, corporate partners, and local school districts to benefit FeedMore Western New York. Over $150,000 raised through the Wegmans Tailgate Party Box and the Bills vs. Jaguars 50/50 on September 23rd also benefited this year's hunger fighting charities.
Over ten local high schools rallied around the Huddle for Hunger mission and hosted their own collections at their schools and in their communities. At the Monday night football game on September 23rd, four (4) stand out high schools that participated in the challenge were recognized on field.

This year's Huddle For Hunger community visit was spent at St. Lukes Mission of Mercy. Buffalo Bills players Tommy Doyle, Ryan Van Demark, and Darrynton Evans spent also spent an afternoon at St. Luke's alongside students packing lunches for those in need.

Buffalo City Mission
The Buffalo City Mission exists to restore hope and dignity to the hurting and homeless through the transforming grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.
Buffalo Go Green, Inc. provides services and training to under-served populations throughout Western New York while helping to develop young minds to become leaders in Green Industries and Agriculture. They also fight food injustice and provide fresh produce, food and meals to the underserved population in our region.
The Chautauqua County Rural Ministry was created to have parents and children who are in foster care meet in a safe and appropriate environment, with the goal of strengthening familial bonds. The Rural Ministry offers food demonstrations and workshops within their program to inform people of healthier ways to eat and use a product they may not know how to use. The Rural Ministry provides the basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter to the less fortunate and those in crisis situations.
Connecting Communities in Action builds resilient communities by helping people achieve economic, physical, and emotional security. CCA serves individuals and families, the elderly, the disabled, and the disadvantaged in southwestern and central New York.
Through its food bank distribution center and partner hunger-relief agencies, as well as its home-delivered meal program and other targeted feeding programs, FeedMore WNY alleviates hunger and assists community members of all ages throughout Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties.
Food Shuttle of WNY is a 100% volunteer organization that transports surplus food from local grocery stores, restaurants, and bakeries to soup kitchens, shelters, and food pantries.
Grassroots Gardens' mission is to share knowledge, power, and resources to grow healthy food, heal systemic harm, and strengthen neighborhood connections through community gardens.
Characterized by a profound spiritual motivation to share the Word of God, Hearts' staff and volunteers nourish the community physically and spiritually through various outreach programs and initiatives.
Using a nature-focused curriculum, Home Beneath Our Feet seeds the development of children, youth, and adults through artistic, physical, financial, and personal initiatives to improve quality of life in our community.
The Massachusetts Avenue Projects mission is to nurture the growth of a diverse, accessible, and equitable local food system, promote economic opportunities, and empower youth through social change education.
Hearing the parallel needs and challenges experienced by other people who are refugees, immigrants, Black, Indigenous, and people of color, PFC was established in 2019 as a non-profit umbrella organization with a mission of cultivating farmer-led and community-rooted agriculture and food systems to actualize the rights of under-resourced peoples.
West Side Community Services focuses on prevention and guided by the values of equity, humility, and effectiveness and collaboration. WSCS offers education, arts, wellness, and prevention programs for young children, families, school-age kids and teens, adults, and senior citizens living on Buffalo's West Side. WSCS works to ensure the well-being of a vibrant and dynamic West Side by engaging, supporting, and connecting its residents.
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
At St. Luke's, they strive to meet needs and care for the poor and abandoned in our community by carrying out the Works of Mercy. ​Feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, shelter the homeless, clothe the naked, visit the sick, visit the imprisoned, bury the dead.

The Warming House offers service and internship opportunities for St. Bonaventure students as it continues its mission to provide nourishment, fellowship and dignity to its guests.
