Three weeks remain in the 2025 NFL regular season and the AFC playoff picture is starting to take a clearer shape.
With three straight wins, the Bills' playoff chances have surged to 99%, according to the New York Times Playoff Machine. Buffalo (10-4) can clinch a playoff spot with a win at Cleveland and a loss by Houston or Indianapolis.
The Bills are still alive in the AFC East race with a 23% chance to win the division.

Las Vegas Raiders (2-12) at Houston Texans (9-5) | Sunday, Dec. 21 at 4:25 p.m.
Who to root for: Root for the Raiders
Why: The Bills can clinch a playoff berth in Week 16 with a win at Cleveland and a Texans loss to the Raiders.
San Francisco 49ers (10-4) at Indianapolis Colts (8-6) | Monday, Dec. 22 at 8:15 p.m.
Who to root for: Root for the 49ers
Why: The Bills can clinch a playoff berth in Week 16 with a win at Cleveland and a Colts loss to the 49ers.
Medium priority games
New England Patriots (11-3) at Baltimore Ravens (7-7) | Sunday Dec. 21 at 8:20 p.m.
Who to root for: Root for the Ravens
Why: Assuming the Bills win their final three regular season games (Browns, Eagles, Jets), the SNF showdown between the Pats-Ravens would actually have no impact on the AFC East race. As it stands, the Bills can win the AFC East by winning out and the Patriots dropping a game to either the Jets in Week 17 or Dolphins in Week 18.
A Ravens victory in Week 16 would only help Buffalo should it lose to one of the Browns, Eagles or Jets.
Los Angeles Chargers (9-5) at Dallas Cowboys (6-7-1) | Sunday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m.
Who to root for: Root for the Cowboys
Why: A Bills win and a Chargers loss would give Buffalo the No. 5 seed going into Week 17.
Worst Case Scenario
A Bills loss + wins by the Texans, Colts, Patriots and Chargers would drop the Bills to the No. 7 seed in the AFC. Buffalo would only have a 3% chance to win the division.
Best Case Scenario
A Bills win + losses by the Texans, Colts, Patriots and Chargers would mean Buffalo clinches a playoff berth, rises to the No. 5 seed and have a 39% chance to win the AFC East.
