The Buffalo Bills officially clinched a playoff spot in Week 16. Now, the only thing left to determine will be which seed Buffalo is in the AFC.
Going into Week 17, the Bills are the No. 6 seed but have a near 50% chance to rise to the 5-seed in the next two weeks, according to the New York Times Playoff Machine. If Buffalo wins its final two games, it will be assured the No. 5 seed at a minimum.
The Bills still have an 18% chance to win the AFC East, but will need one of two scenarios to play out.
Buffalo will either need to win out and have the Patriots lose one of their final two games OR have the Patriots lose their last two games and the Bills win one of their last two.

New England Patriots (12-3) at New York Jets (3-12) | Sunday, Dec. 28 at 1 p.m.
Who to root for: Root for the Jets
Why: A Bills win over the Eagles and a loss by the Patriots to the Jets would move Buffalo into first place in the AFC East going into Week 18. If the Bills happen to lose to Philly, they would still be alive in the AFC East race if New England also loses in Week 17.
