Bills activate Tre'Davious White and acquire Dean Marlowe in a trade

The Bills have activated cornerback Tre'Davious White from the Reserve/PUP list. In addition to this move, Buffalo has also acquired safety Dean Marlowe from the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a 2023 seventh round pick.

To make room for the CB and Marlowe, the Bills have released defensive tackle Brandin Bryant and wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins.

The Bills have also reinstated cornerback Xavier Rhodes to the practice squad and released cornerback Jordan Miller from the practice squad.

White was originally placed on the Reserve/PUP list this season because he was still rehabbing from a torn ACL. The CB suffered the injury in last season's Week 12 game against the New Orleans Saints.

Head coach Sean McDermott said he will not disclose if White will play on Sunday now that he is on the active roster.

"He'll remain day to day, and (I'm) not really going to get into speculating on whether he's going to play this week or not," McDermott said.

White was drafted by the Bills with in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. The CB has totaled 16 interceptions, 60 passes defensed, 11 tackles for loss and five forced fumbles as a Buffalo Bill.
