The Bills claimed 6-5, 305 pound DT Casey Rodgers off waivers from the New York Giants Friday as the team continues to round out its defensive line depth ahead of OTAs.

Rogers was signed by the Giants in 2024 as undrafted free agent; he appeared in two games for the team in 2024.

Prior to making the leap to the NFL, Rogers spent five years in college playing for Nebraska (2019-21) and Oregon (2022-23). In two seasons at Oregon, Rogers played in 27 games and recorded 56 tackles with 1.5 sacks and seven tackles for a loss.

Rogers attended Westhill High School in Syracuse, NY. He originally committed to Syracuse to play lacrosse but decommitted and decided to attend Nebraska to play football.
