Bills host free agent LB Buchanan


Today, the Bills are hosting outside linebacker Michael Buchanan on a free agent visit. 

Buchanan played in 18 career games with the New England Patriots after being drafted by the team in the seventh round (226 overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft out of the University of Illinois.  Buchanan was released by New England on May 7, 2015.  In his NFL career, he has produced 2.0 sacks and three tackles.

Buchanan, a native of Homewood, IL, stands at 6-6 and 255 pounds.  He made 32 starts in 46 career games at Illinois and was named second team All-Big 10 in 2011 and 2012.  He finished his college career with 14.0 sacks and 161 tackles.
