Bills RB Ray Davis was honored at The Powerhouse Thursday night in Buffalo as he accepted the 2025 Advocacy Award given by the Mental Health Advocates of WNY.

Each year, the Mental Health Advocates of WNY presents this award to an individual or organization that has made significant contributions to mental health advocacy, supported others, and helped reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness.

Davis was Buffalo's fourth-round draft pick last season and his advocacy for foster children made an instant impact in the WNY community in 2024.

His commitment to supporting vulnerable youth emphasizes the importance of providing stable and nurturing environments. Recognizing his work not only honors his dedication but also raises awareness about the needs of foster children.

This effort reinforces MHA's mission to uplift at-risk youth and promote mental wellness within the community. As a well-known public figure who has openly shared his own foster care journey, Davis is helping to dismantle barriers and stigma related to mental health, encouraging others to seek support.

More than 450 guests, including mental health professionals, businesses and community leaders attended the event. Davis is the first Bills player to be given the award since 2023 when former safety Jordan Poyer was recognized.
