Bills sign OLB Mike Danna to one-year contract

The Bills added depth to their linebackers room on Monday. Buffalo added outside linebacker Mike Danna to their roster.

Danna comes to the AFC East from the AFC West where he spent the last six seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2025, the OLB made 14 starts and recorded 25 total tackles, one sack, one interception, four quarterback hits and three tackles for loss.

Throughout his six-year career, Danna played in 87 games (49 starts) and accumulated 194 total tackles, 21.5 sacks, 25 tackles for loss, 51 quarterback hits, six forced fumbles and one interception. He had a career-high 50 tackles, 6.5 sacks and 13 quarterback hits in 2023.

He was originally drafted by the Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Danna will wear No. 51 for the Bills. In a corresponding move, the Bills released cornerback MJ Devonshire.
