The Bills weren't only adding players to their roster via the draft this weekend. Just two days later they added a veteran running back signing free agent Latavius Murray.

Murray, 33, split last season between the Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints appearing in 13 games rushing for 760 yards and six touchdowns. He also had 27 receptions.

The 6-3, 230-pound back, who has averaged 4.2 yards per carry in his career, is a bruising tailback who can push the pile in short yardage and break tackles for extra yards. Murray has largely been part of committee backfields in his career but does have one 1,000-yard rushing season when he rushed for 1,066 yards in 2015.

Murray is the second free agent signing for Buffalo's offensive backfield this offseason. The Bills signed Damien Harris back in March.
