Bills sign running back Duke Johnson

The Bills have added some depth to their running backs room. Running back Duke Johnson has signed a one-year deal with Buffalo.

Johnson, 5-9 and 210 pounds, played for the Dolphins last year and had 71 attempts for 330 rushing yards, three rushing touchdowns and four receptions for 41 receiving yards in five games.

The eight-year veteran has also spent time with the Texans (2019 to 2020) and the Browns (2015 to 2018).

He has played in 96 games and started in 21. The running back has totaled 530 attempts for 2,261 rushing yards, 11 rushing touchdowns, 311 receptions for 2,870 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns in his career. In his seven seasons, Johnson has averaged 4.3 yards per carry and 9.2 yards per reception.

Johnson was drafted by the Browns in the third round of the 2015 NFL draft. He played collegiately at Miami.
