Eagles 37, Bills 34 in OT | Final score, game highlights + stats to know

The Buffalo Bills lost 37-34 to the Philadelphia Eagles in overtime at Lincoln Financial Field in a game that saw no shortage of touchdowns and dramatics.

After giving up a 10-point halftime lead, Josh Allen and the Bills took over with a little over seven minutes remaining in the game. As they effectively worked the clock down under two minutes, Allen found Gabe Davis in the end zone on a quick slant to retake the lead.

After being stopped on third-and-17 from their own 41-yard line, the Eagles tied the game with a 59-yard field goal from Jake Elliott to force overtime.

The Bills won the toss and started the overtime period with the ball. Facing third-and-9, Allen found Gabe Davis for a 13-yard pickup and a first down. Just two plays later, once again facing third-and-9, Allen scrambled for a 15-yard gain to keep the Bills' hopes of winning alive.

Tyler Bass hit a 40-yard field goal to give the Bills a 34-31 lead.

Nine plays later, Jalen Hurts ran it in for the walk-off touchdown.

Allen finished with two touchdowns on the ground and one passing touchdown to go with 339 passing yards, 81 rushing yards and an interception.

A week after finishing with zero catches, Gabe Davis caught six passes for 105 yards and a touchdown. Stefon Diggs caught six for 74 yards and a touchdown that put the Bills up two scores at halftime.

The Bills will have their bye week before facing the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14.

  • With his rushing touchdown in the second quarter, Allen joined Cam Newton as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to have four seasons with eight or more rushing touchdowns. With his second rushing touchdown of the game, Allen tied his single-season career high of nine.
  • Allen has now had 20 consecutive games with a passing touchdown, the most in team history. His eight games this season with both a passing and rushing touchdown are tied for the second-most all-time behind Kyler Murray's nine in 2020.
  • The Bills scored 14 points in the second half, marking the first time the Eagles have given up a second half touchdown since Week 8.
  • Tyler Bass went 1-3 on field goals Sunday and made all four of his extra point attempts. His second quarter 48-yard field goal was his 100th career field goal. Bass has scored the fifth-most points in Bills history.
  • While Rasul Douglas played only his fourth game for the Buffalo Bills, Sunday marked the seven-year veteran's 100th game played in the NFL. Douglas finished with five tackles.
