The AFC East is still up in the air between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots, but the Bills still have an opportunity in Week 16 to clinch a playoff berth.
Here are the four different scenarios where Buffalo punches its ticket to the postseason:
- Bills win Browns on Sunday, Dec. 21 AND Colts lose or tie to 49ers on Monday, Dec. 22
- Bills win Browns on Sunday AND Texans lose or tie to Raiders on Sunday, Dec. 21
- Bills tie Browns AND Colts lose to 49ers
- Bills tie Browns AND Texans lose to Raiders
If one of these four scenarios happens, the Bills secure their spot before the final two weeks of the season. Buffalo currently has a 99 percent chance of making the playoffs, according to the NFL’s AFC playoff picture after Week 15.
The Bills have their final road game of 2025 on Sunday. Kickoff at Cleveland is set for 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
