There was one surprise on Buffalo's injury report Wednesday. Leading receiver John Brown was limited in practice due to a groin injury.

Meanwhile linebackers Matt Milano and Corey Thompson were also limited in practice, but worked hard during drill work Wednesday.

For Thompson it was his first practice since his ankle surgery last month.

How Thompson and Milano feel on Thursday and their level of participation in practice will provide more evidence as to which way their availability might be headed concerning Sunday's game.

On the whole the bye week has served Buffalo's injury list well. Players who have been sidelined with injuries the last few weeks look as though they'll soon be able to return to the lineup.

TE Tyler Kroft, CB Taron Johnson and RB Devin Singletary were all full-time participants, improving their chances to be active on Sunday. Head coach Sean McDermott however, isn't counting on anyone on the injury report before the week is out.

"We'll take it a day at a time and see where we're at," he said.

Also back practicing fully were offensive linemen Mitch Morse and Cody Ford and DE Trent Murphy, who all suffered injuries in Week 5 at Tennessee.
