Q: How'd you feel at practice today?

A: It was fun. I had a blast out there today. I think I was 8-for-11 or something like that.

Q: What are your thoughts on what went right out there?

A: I think what went right was that the receivers are making good plays for me. It's my job to get it to them, but the offensive line picked up some really tough blitzes and did a lot of good things. My receivers made plays. We're kind of getting a relationship in learning from each other and learning each other and where to put the ball and such. It's starting to come together.

Q: It looks like you had some pretty good series out there in a row. What did you see?

A: Obviously with two of us you're going to get a lot of reps. It was a lot harder for the offensive line with all of the back-to-back series.

Q: Can you talk about your first long ball to Marquise Goodwin?

A: It was just a double move, and when you have a guy like Marquise, when he makes a double move, you're going to throw it. I let it go and he made a great play on the ball.

Q: What stage are you in with the receivers in terms of connecting on the deep balls?

A: It's maybe too early to say that we are completely comfortable out there, but we are just going to continue to come out and get better. The more you throw it, the better you're going to be at it. Taking shots here in scrimmage means that it may be more high percentage down the road in actual games. We're going to keep working on it and see where it gets us.

Q: What did it mean to get those results under the conditions of being a live football game?

A: It's great. It's great for myself. It's great for the receivers. It's great for everybody. It's great for the coaches. Like you said, this was our first true test in football and I think we came out and did some good things.
