5. Back by popular demand

It's happening, Bills fans. SJ13 is coming home.

The Bills Legend and undeniable fan favorite will be back at his old stomping grounds on Sunday, as the 'Leader of the Charge' and he's just as excited as you are.

"The thing I'm most excited about is having the family around and being able to experience that Buffalo atmosphere," said Johnson. "There's nothing like it."

Johnson will look to bring the energy and good vibes as he waves the Bills flag above the tunnel and welcomes the team to the field.

4. Hometown Heroes Ceremony

In honor of the men and women who work tirelessly to ensure our safety, the Buffalo Bills will hold a special Hometown Heroes pregame ceremony on Sunday. Prior to kickoff, Bills fans will watch as local first responders from several organizations are welcomed to the field to celebrate their unmatched dedication to the community. The Bills will also pay tribute to fallen New York State Trooper Nicholas F. Clark, who lost his life in the line of duty.

3. Familiar foe, fresh faces

The Bills and Chargers are certainly not strangers. When the AFC opponents meet on Sunday it'll mark their 34th regular season matchup. However, despite having played each other less than a year ago, both teams have acquired some fresh faces at prominent positions. Most notable for the Bills is rookie quarterback Josh Allen, who will line up under center as the team's starting signal caller.

2. Edmunds earning his stripes

In his first regular season NFL start, Bills rookie linebacker Tremaine Edmunds didn't disappoint. Recording a sack on Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco and a forced fumble, the Virginia Tech product showed promise. This week, Edmunds will look to use that momentum as fuel against a productive Chargers offense. With one sack, he'll become the first rookie in Bills franchise history to get a sack in the first two weeks of the season.

1. One Heart. Beat Louder.

There's not much that can beat the electrifying atmosphere at New Era Field on game day, especially with support from the NFL's best fan base. As the Bills return to Orchard Park this week to defend their dirt against the Chargers, they're counting on you, Bills fans, to do what you do best – bring the noise and make New Era Field a tough place to play.
