The idea of an allergen-friendly food drive came from a conversation Wegmans had with Head Coach Sean McDermott's wife, Jamie. They have kids with food allergies and know the challenges families face, and those challenges are even greater for families facing food-insecurity as well. Leveraging the personal connection with the McDermott family can bring even more awareness to this need.

Hamlin and Schumer have been working together to create a new federal program to put more AEDs in schools. Now Schumer is launching their final push as he will bring the bipartisan Cardiomyopathy Health Education, Awareness, Research and Training in Schools (HEARTS) Act to the floor for passage so it can become law.
