Bills injury report: McCoy questionable for Sunday

The designation was anything but surprising for LeSean McCoy. The Bills feature back was listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Minnesota. McCoy's cracked rib cartilage limited him in practice all week.

"If I'm good enough to go out there and compete, then I'm going to give 110 percent," said McCoy earlier this week. "There might be some pain and I'll have to deal with it. It is what it is."

"He's had a long career, so he's played hurt before," said head coach Sean McDermott. "A physically tough player and he played hurt in the playoff game last season. It's nothing he hasn't done before. We'll continue to evaluate him."

Buffalo's cornerback contingent also has a couple of question marks. Both Phillip Gaines and Taron Johnson are questionable after both were limited in practice. Things appear to be more positive for Johnson, who was a full participant in practice on Friday.

"We'll be ready to go," said McDermott in reference to his secondary.

CB Taron Johnson – shoulder
RB Taiwan Jones – head
WR Ray-Ray McCloud – knee
RB LeSean McCoy – rib

The Minnesota Vikings will be without a couple of key starters on both sides of the ball. DE Everson Griffen and RB Dalvin Cook will not play in Sunday's game due to knee and hamstring injuries. The Vikings will also be without their primary return man CB Marcus Sherels, meaning that rookie CB Mike Hughes is expected to handle kick and punt returns.
