Buffalo Bills injury report vs. Vikings | Week 9

1920X1080 PALMER IR

Buffalo Bills head coach Joe Brady ruled out one player and listed five others as questionable for Monday night's game at the Vikings.

WR Joshua Palmer (hamstring) will be out, while LT Dion Dawkins (ribs), LG Alec Anderson (ankle), DB Jordan Hancock (hamstring), DL Greg Gaines (calf) and WR Tyrell Shavers (knee) will all be questionable.

Palmer did not practice all week after leaving last week's game due to injury, though Brady said the receiver is not a candidate for injured reserve at this point.

If Shavers or Hancock were to play, the team would have to activate them from IR by Monday afternoon. Hancock had his 21-day practice window opened this week has been a limited participant; Shavers has been a full participant.

Dawkins has missed practice all week, though Brady added that the left tackle doesn't necessarily need to practice in order to suit up.

"There's certain positions that have played enough football that I believe they can go out there and do their job, certain people that can do their job without the practice," Brady said.

If Dawkins can't play, the team would likely turn to third-year offensive lineman Tylan Grable to fill that spot. Grable subbed in for RT Spencer Brown last week, who missed Week 8 with a back injury. As for Brown, he has participated in practice all week and does not carry an injury designation for the game.

Alec Anderson returned to practice Saturday after missing Thursday and Friday. Backup guard Austin Corbett would be in line to start in place of Anderson if he is unable to suit up.

WRs DJ Moore and Keon Coleman, along with TE Dalton Kincaid do not carry injury designations either and are good to go for Monday night. WR Khalil Shakir returned to practice Saturday after missing Friday due to an excused personal absence.
