Vs New England Patriots

  • With the win today, Sean McDermott gets his 30th win as Bills head coach. He surpassed Wade Phillips for the 4th most in team history. The Bills also swept the Jets for the first time since 2015.
  • Tyler Bass had a very busy game today. He scored all of the Bills points of the game. Bass went 6-8 on field goals and kicked a new career-long 53-yard field goal. With six field goals made, he tied the franchise record for most field goals made in one game (Steve Christie -10/20/96). His eight field goal attempts are the most in one game in franchise history and the most by a rookie in the NFL since the 1970 merger. He tied three other kickers for the most by any player in that time span.
  • The Bills had a season-high 6.0 sacks in today's game. They came into this game with 11 sacks all season. Eight Bills players were credited with at least half of a sack. Jerry Hughes (2.0), Jordan Poyer (1.0), A.J. Klein (0.5), Tre'Davious White (0.5), A.J. Epenesa (0.5), Trent Murphy (0.5), Dean Marlowe (0.5), Matt Milano (0.5).
  • Cole Beasley ended the day with a season-high 11 catches and a season-high 112 yards. It is the second time this season that he has gone for over 100 yards receiving.
  • Bills rookie Dane Jackson snatched the first interception of his career, in his first career start. The seventh-rounder was elevated from the Bills practice squad for today's game.
  • With one reception for eleven yards against the Jets, Gabriel Davis has a catch in all seven games of his rookie season. He is the first Bills rookie since Sammy Watkins in 2014 to do so.
  • Devin Singletary had two receptions for 18 yards. He extends his receiving streak to a career-long 16 games. That is the longest by a Bills RB since Fred Jackson's 26-game streak.
  • Jerry Hughes is the second Buffalo Bill since 1982 to have two sacks and an interception in one game. He joins Cornelius Bennett who did that on 12/23/89 at NYJ.
  • With 300+ yards passing Josh Allen had his fourth 300-yard game this season. Allen is now the fourth Bills quarterback to have four such games in one season and the first since Drew Bledsoe in 2002.
  • With six receptions, Stefon Diggs became the third Bill ever with a streak of at least four games with six-plus receptions. Diggs joins Eric Moulds (6 games in 2001-02) and Lee Evans (4 games 3-6, 2006).
