Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that LB Von Miller (knee) will not play in Week 13's game at the New England Patriots. Miller left the Thanksgiving game against the Lions due to a right knee injury he suffered in the first half and did not return.

"Von will not play this week, and we'll just see where it goes from there," McDermott said.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Miller is dealing with a lateral meniscus tear to his right knee, but avoided tearing his ACL.

McDermott did not go as far as to put a timeline on how much time Miller could miss, however he did say that Miller will have to undergo more testing soon to determine the next steps.

"There will be more testing and whatnot that gets involved. But I'll just keep it at that for now," McDermott said.

Despite Miller's immense importance to the defense, McDermott shared that the team is approaching the situation the same way it has with other injuries this season.

"He's a future Hall of Famer for a reason. That said, we've got to move forward this week. And the person or the people responsible to step in and step up have got to do the job, and that's the way it goes," he said.
