1. Former teammate believes John Brown can be No. 1 wide receiver
New Bills wide receiver John Brown earned some high praise from his former teammate and quarterback. While on One Bills Live, future Hall of Fame quarterback Carson Palmer admitted he "absolutely" thinks Brown can be the No. 1 wideout the Bills are looking for.
"Oh, absolutely, his rookie year was unbelievable," Palmersaid. "Everybody get so enamored with height and weight, and he doesn't have either, but I'll never forget my first training camp with him."
Palmer recalled a story from Brown's rookie year. Brown beat All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson over the top and Peterson pulled Palmer over to tell him that there was no one who could run with Brown on the same field.
"As soon as Pat said that to me, Pat would never admit something unless it was true, I think that's one of the few guys he ever played against in practice and had to really be on his 'A' game for," Palmer said.
Palmer knows that the chemistry between Brown and Josh Allen will take time and probably won't fully develop over their first year together. Palmer feels that whether it was year one or year ten with a guy he couldn't get enough reps with them.
"John used to come with me in July when we got out of OTAs, he'd come live with me and we'd work out every day all that July and all the way up into training camp to get that continuity and the timing and rhythm down," Palmer said.
The consistent work they had was a trait he probably picked up from Larry Fitzgerald. Palmer admits that there was no one better for him to learn from. Even after over a decade in the league, Fitzgerald would constantly work on every route, even the most basic like curls.
"John benefitted greatly from having him around," Palmer said. "Having a guy like that who works every day tirelessly and doesn't take practices off. In my opinion he's the best to ever play the game at that position."
2. Lorenzo Alexander relishes in Iron Bills championship
He may be the oldest member of the Bills' defense but Lorenzo Alexander still has it. Alexander, the Iron Bills Champion 2019, received a little teasing from his teammates for winning this year.
"Yeah you know those are haters but I love both of those guys _Jordan Poyer and Jason Croom],” Alexander said on [One Bills Live. "We have great banter going back and forth and obviously I have a great relationship with both Jordan and Jason being here a couple years with them. Anytime you turn something into a competition you'll see some trash talking going back and forth."
It was Alexander's first individual accolade with the team which honors the most productive player when it comes to workouts during the offseason. Alexander says he put it into "hyperdrive" because his team wasn't close to winning it all by the midway point of the offseason. The winning team gets to skip the conditioning test for training camp.
Now, Alexander won't have to do the conditioning test as an individual winner but it wouldn't have been a problem is he was to do it.
"The conditioning test, at this point, if you're not in shape coming into camp there's an issue," Alexander said. "I shouldn't have to burn my legs up the day before I go out and play football to prove to you that I've been working out."
Alexander missed parts of minicamp due to new CBA negotiations but would have attended by phone call because he wanted to win the award that bad.

Coming out of LSU, Tre'Davious White has been nothing short of extraordinary his first two seasons in the NFL and Marc Sessler of NFL.com agrees tabbing him as the next first-time Pro Bowler for the Bills.

He finished that season as the NFL's sixth-best cornerback, per Pro Football Focus, with the analytics site rating him as the league's top rookie. Less splashy on paper in 2018, White clearly had the attention of opposing teams, who made him thefifth-lowest-targeted cornerbackin the NFL, per Next Gen Stats. One of the grittier press-cover operators in the conference, White is Pro Bowl-ready.
White will be entering his third NFL season in 2019 with a firm hold on the No. 1 cornerback position. Just 24-years-old, White has a bright future ahead of him, as he's already a key piece to one of the top secondaries and defenses in the NFL.
