1. Pro Football Focus predicts these signings in free agency

Pro Football Focus ranked the top 150 free agents and predicted where they would sign. They had the Bills resigning two of their own and signing three other free agents. Full analysis on the five players is listed below and to see the full list of the 150 top free agents, click here. The free agency period starts March 15.

18. CB RICHARD SHERMAN

One of the best cornerbacks of his generation, Richard Sherman is still playing the game at a high level, but his age and relative lack of scheme diversity will scare a lot of potential suitors off.

Prediction: Bills sign Sherman for two years ...

37. LB MATT MILANO

Milano has developed into a modern-day linebacker. He has the 11th-best coverage grade among linebackers since 2018, he's been excellent matching up with running backs in single coverage and he's held his own when asked to line up over the slot.

Prediction: Bills sign Milano for four years …

40. T DARYL WILLIAMS

Daryl Williams is having a career-reviving season in Buffalo after signing a one-year, $2.25 million deal this offseason following a disappointing 2019 campaign with the Carolina Panthers.

Prediction: Bills sign Williams for three years…

57. RB CHRIS CARSON

You will find few harder-running backs than Chris Carson, and that play style has led to him having some of the most consistent PFF rushing grades of any back in the league during his career.

Prediction: Bills sign Carson for three years …

59. EDGE TREY HENDRICKSON

Of all the players in the free-agent pool, Hendrickson may have made himself the most money here in 2020. His career started with three years of average grades, but he's getting after the quarterback at a high rate — and the NFL is noticing._

Prediction: Bills sign Hendrickson for four years ...

2. ESPN lists this tight end as the best free agent fit for the Bills

ESPN staff writer Jeremy Fowler ranked his top 50 free agents heading into the 2021 offseason and listed what team they would best fit. Fowler lists tight end Jonnu Smith as a fit for Buffalo.

11. Jonnu Smith, TE

Best fit: Buffalo Bills

What better way to take this offense over the top than with a tight end who can catch up the seam or take a fly sweep 20 yards? Dawson Knox is a solid option but could use a complementary piece next to him. Buffalo is $1.6 million under the cap but has several veterans it can release or whose contracts could be restructured. After 15 wins and an AFC title game appearance, the Bills can think along these terms: What moves will put us past the Chiefs in the AFC?

3. PFF's Bills Free Agency Preview

With the 2020 season officially in the books for all 32 teams, the focus now shifts to the free agency frenzy that will start in a little over one month. Pro Football Focus came out with their 2021 NFL Free Agency Preview for every team and listed their ideal plan of action for the offseason. For the Bills, PFF listed the defensive line and the cornerback positions as the biggest team needs.

BUFFALO BILLS

Soon-to-be unrestricted free agents: T Daryl Williams, LB Matt Milano, EDGE Trent Murphy, CB Josh Norman, G Joe Feliciano, G Brian Winters, QB Matt Barkley

Team needs: DL, CB

... Yannick Ngakoue isn't going to provide much in run support, but he will bolster the Bills' pass-rush ... Ngakoue is tied for ninth among edge rushers in pass-rush grade over the last four seasons. He and Hughes would immediately become one of the better pass-rushing tandems in the NFL.
