Buddy, Booker, Bills and Jills visit All-Star Affair

At Shea's Performing Arts Center on June 22, a few hundred people got up-close and personal with many of the Buffalo Bills players and the team's top brass.

The Buffalo Niagara Partnership's All-Star Affair is a networking event that featured gourmet food, open bar, a meet-and-greet with Bills players, alumni and new General Manager Buddy Nix, a silent auction and a raffle. Bills prizes included suites to home games, premium tickets and autographed items.

Bills players in attendance included offensive lineman Andy Levitre, Eric Wood, Ed Wang and Christian Gaddis, defensive backs Bryan Scott, team co-captain George Wilson and Jon Corto, defensive lineman Arthur Moats, linebacker Torell Troup and running back Joique Bell. The Buffalo Jills Cheerleaders and Billy Buffalo were also on hand mingling and taking photos with fans throughout the evening.

The event, sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York was also a celebration of the Buffalo Niagara region's workforce and recognized several local business persons for their outstanding commitment to their profession and company.

In a unique setting at Shea's, the employees were recognized on the big stage along with the Bills players. In addition, the newest member of the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame, former Bills All-Pro cornerback and AFL Champion Booker Edgerson, was introduced and took part in the evening's All-Star Affair.

After the introductions, the majestic curtains at Shea's opened up to reveal an impressive, behind-the-stage party scene where those in attendance moved to join the festivities and enjoy the remainder of a fun evening.

The Buffalo Niagara Partnership includes nearly 2,500 employer members working for improved business competitiveness and expanded economic activity in the region.  The Partnership advocates, locally, and in Albany, and Washington, D.C., for policies and resources to increase private sector investment and jobs.
