The Buffalo Bills signed punter Mitch Wishnowsky to a one-year deal. Entering the 2026 league year, the Australian punter was slated to be an unrestricted free agent.

Wishnowsky joined the Bills' squad in 2025, coming from his six-season stint with the San Francisco 49ers (2019-24). In Buffalo, he had 38 punts for 1,590 net yards (1,723 total yards). This included 18 that landed inside the opponents 20-yard-line, 47.4 percent of his punts. Wishnowsky did not get blocked once in the 2025 season.

All-time, he logged 105 total punts for 14,328 net yards (15,820 total yards), 156 of which landed inside the opposing 20-yard-line (44.8 percent of all punts). Wishnowsky was only blocked twice his entire seven-year NFL career.

The 49ers drafted Wishnowsky in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, 110th overall, out of Utah. After getting released by San Francisco, he joined Washington's practice squad before signing a one-year deal with the Bills on Sept. 30, 2025.

Wishnowsky enters year eight of his NFL career and year two as a Buffalo Bill.
