General Game Comments:

"We got our first win which was good to get.  (It was) a hard fought game.  I think a lot of them this year are going to be the same situation, where we have to win the game in the fourth quarter. It was good to see the last drive with the offense moving the ball."

"I like the way we started the game out. The offense did a nice job of executing early. We got the ball down to the 1 yard line, obviously we should have kicked the field goal, because we didn't convert the fourth down. But I did want to put them in that position. We talked about it earlier, that if we were in a position to go for it on fourth-and-one, we would do it, and see how we did."

On Defense:

"I like the way our defense responded when we turned the ball over. We held them one time to no points, held them the next time to a field goal. We really did a nice job, I thought, the first team defense making sure they didn't get it in the end zone."

"I thought the linebackers looked fast and were fitting where they were supposed to. Our safeties did a nice job of coming to the ball on the run. The only thing we could complain about is that we had them backed up a couple times and we let them come out and change the field position."

On Joey Harrington:

"I thought Joey (Harrington) came out and was executing well. The opening drive we executed well and made good decisions. I'm very comfortable with the way he's played. He's prepared well and understood the game plan. He's worked hard at executing and made some nice throws early."

Maintaining Focus through Vick Distractions:

"I think the leadership from within the team, has helped us focus. That's what we've been trying to establish, that's what we talked about when we had our first meeting. Guys have just been trying to focus each day on getting better individually, getting better on each side of the football, and becoming closer as a team.

"We have to just remind ourselves to focus on football, and that's what we're going to do. We're just going to keep working on football. I think they've shown the maturity to do what I'm asking them to do."
