After much anticipation, Capital One's The Match is almost here!
This year's installment of Capital One's The Match will feature Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes facing off against Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.
The live 12-hole golf event will take place today at 7 pm from Wynn Las Vegas. TNT will televise the event with coverage starting at 6:30 pm. It will also air on TruTV and HLN as well as stream on the TNT app.
Allen and Mahomes have been fierce competitors over the past few years with the Bills and Chiefs meeting twice in both of the last two seasons. Even being competitors, there is mutual respect between the two. Allen is excited to team up with him to take on Brady and Rodgers in the golf event.
"I talk to him quite a bit, actually," Allen said about being teammates with Mahomes. "I don't think it's gonna be weird at all. We get along extremely well outside of football. We got a lot of respect for each other, inside of football and on the field.
"But I think that me and Pat will have a better rapport than those other two guys that have been fighting and clawing against each other for the last 18 years where me and Pat are just starting to go at it. … It'll be very fun. I'm extremely excited for the opportunity for that."
