In an appearance on WGR 550 Friday morning, Sean McDermott ruled out running back Zack Moss, tight end Dawson Knox and linebacker Del'Shawn Phillips.

Linebackers Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano and corner Taron Johnson are listed as questionable for Sunday.

Moss is dealing with a toe injury and missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Knox suffered a concussion during the Dolphins game and did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday as he's in concussion protocol. Phillips suffered a hamstring injury during the Jets game and missed the Dolphins game. The linebacker hasn't practiced this week either.

Linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano were injured during the Week 1 game against the Jets and did not play in last week's Miami game. Milano was limited through Wednesday and Thursday practice, although he was not wearing a non-contact jersey. Milano was listed as a full participant after Friday's practice. Edmunds was limited with a shoulder injury through practices on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday wearing a red non-contract jersey.

Another player who was limited on Thursday was wide receiver John Brown. McDermott explained he was dealing with foot soreness and will know more about his status after Friday's practice.

"I'll get to know a little bit more as I see him out at practice today," McDermott said. "But I'm confident at this point that he's trending in the right direction."
