Junior Bills Backers Halloween party a treat

The Junior Bills Backers were treated, not tricked, to a spooktacular Bills Halloween Party Tuesday night at the haunted Bills Healthy Zone Fieldhouse. Costumed kids brought their mummy and pumpkin–headed over to all the scary fun and freaky activities that the Bills provided at the event for Season Ticket Holders and other Bills fans.

Bills linebacker Arthur Moats, wide receiver David Nelson and tight end Mike Caussin joined the goonies and helped decorate pumpkins, took photos and signed autographs for the children.

"I had a great time with the kids and hanging out with them," said Moats. "We decorated pumpkins together and I got a lot of laughs from seeing all the costumes, and kids had a lot of fun...I did too!"

Halloween activities included interactive football games, bounce houses and slides, pumpkin decorating, a hot cauldron dinner, Halloween themed quiz-show Dennis, priceless autographed Bills prizes, monster mash of music such as Thriller and other harrowing hits, photo opportunities with Billy Buffalo, and a Halloween gift bag filled with goodies for those that dared to attend!

"This is a cool event for kids and we definitely had fun with them," said Nelson. "From the pumpkins, food, Bills games, Halloween show and costumes, the kids were pretty happy."

There were plenty of different outfits and children were dressed in their scariest, craziest and cutest costumes.  Some were ugly and some were simply bootifull.  Leading the charge of kooky characters who invaded the Fieldhouse and enjoyed all of the freaktastic fun and ghoulish games were ghosts and goblins, pretty princesses, wacky witches, spooky skeletons, lovely lady bugs, creepy zombies, vampires, bats, Frankenstein, Batman, Spiderman, policeman, fireman and football players.

"I was glad to join my teammates and share some fun with these kids," said Caussin. "Halloween is all about the kids and having fun, and this party was really a great way for them to get in the spirit."

The Junior Bills Backers Halloween Party was complimentary to Bills Season Ticket Holders and children. To view photos from the event click here. For more information about the Junior Bills Backers program, please visit buffalobills.com.
