Bethany Krull & Jesse Walp

Bethany Krull and Jesse Walp (Allied Art Studio) are a husband‑and‑wife artist team with extensive experience creating meaningful, site‑specific sculptures, installations, and gallery exhibitions. Working across a wide range of materials, including ceramics, wood, cast bronze, steel, aluminum, and resin, they bring together complementary skill sets in fabrication, design, and conceptual development. Their practice centers on creating sculptural forms, environments, and immersive experiences that invite thoughtful reflection and connection. Whether responding to the natural world, architectural contexts, or the cultural identity of a community, Krull and Walp create works that resonate physically and emotionally with those who encounter them.

Final Competed sculpture

Make Some Noise, 2026

Powder-coated Aluminum

Abstracted from real soundwaves of a cheering stadium full of Buffalo Bill's fans, this sculpture gives physical presence to the voices of our team's devoted supporters. It honors the unwavering loyalty of the fans whose collective roar can shift a game's momentum, disrupt an opponent's rhythm, and whose energy can lift the team in critical moments to help them win. Constructed from aluminum tubing and powder‑coated in NFL standard goal‑post yellow, the materiality of the piece stems from our desire to carry a fragment of the original Highmark Stadium into the new one. By reimagining this familiar structural language and suspending it as a sculptural relic, the work honors the Bills' original stadium and allows its presence to live on forever inside the walls of its successor. Standing within the artwork, viewers are enveloped by its energetic form, echoing the feeling of stepping onto the ïŹeld and being within the excitement and intensity of the charged space where the game is played.
