Chris B. Murray
Chris B. Murray is a visual artist based in Philadelphia. Originally from Norfolk, New York, in St. Lawrence County, he boldly uses color, expressive characters, layered narratives, and carefully crafted compositions. He likes to navigate the complexities of human experience through the lens of the ongoing tension between nature and culture. He aims to bridge both thematic worlds, leaving a lasting narrative for future generations. International clients include Ticketmaster, Jordan Brand, Marvel Comics, and Paramount Pictures, among others.
Bills on a Parade, 2026
Acrylic paint on wooden panels
In these two paintings, Murray transforms the Buffalo Bills logo and wordmark into a sweeping visual collage that celebrates both football culture and the emotional landscape of Buffalo. Each composition functions like a montage, layering players, weather patterns, architecture, and seasonal imagery into one uniïŹed narrative. The brutal snowstorms of winter, the electric colors of autumn, the rebirth of spring, and the ïŹeeting warmth of summer all become symbolic backdrops that mirror the highs and lows of the Bills experience.
Thank you to Thinkbox Media (Long Island) for providing the CNC cut panels for me to paint.
